Weronika von Lonski

Fun fact about Weronika: I am an avid tea lover and I can’t go a day without a cup! A little fun fact about the word tea from me - Polish is the only language with a completely distinct name for it - herbata - which is unique next to the globally common tea/chai version!

Weronika is a student of International Relations and Law at IE University in Madrid, Spain. She has been teaching English for over three years, preparing students for competitive exams such as the SAT, TOEFL, and more, while also tutoring Spanish at a C1 level. Her tutoring journey began while preparing for her own SAT and TOEFL exams, giving her first-hand insight into the challenges her students face. This experience, combined with her teaching skills, allows her to make language learning clear, effective, and approachable.

Beyond teaching, Weronika works as an educational consultant and mentor for Polish, Spanish and Italian high school students aiming to study abroad. She has collaborated with institutions like Avy College, Elab, and the Off Future Foundation, the largest educational network in Poland, where she oversees applications, conducts interviews, organizes career events, and supports students in choosing their educational or professional paths. With a proven record of helping students gain admission to top universities such as IE University, LUISS, and ESCP, she combines practical strategies with genuine dedication.

Weronika has also worked and volunteered as a writer and editor for academic publications such as the International Policy Review, The Sundial Press, NYU Shanghai, and NGOs such as Salam Lab. She contributed to a legal analysis of the armed conflict in Libya under UN supervision and participated in the anti-misinformation project Fake Off, developing fact-checking tools and argumentation techniques.

Her wide-ranging experience and genuine love for learning help her support each student personally, guiding them with insight and encouragement so they can build confidence and reach their goals.
