Fun fact about Viktorya: As a former professional swimmer, I can now easily hold my breath for up to two and a half minutes.
Viktorya is a second-year medical student at Yerevan State Medical University and a graduate of Ayb School, where she completed advanced A Level courses in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and English, earning an A* in the latter. She has also gained first-hand experience with international applications, having researched and applied to universities in both the US and Europe. After receiving offers from top institutions worldwide, she chose to remain in Armenia to pursue her passion for medicine. This background enables her to guide students through the challenges of university applications abroad with practical insight and confidence.
Her teaching journey began early, as a peer tutor and later leader of the tutoring club at Ayb, where she taught English, mathematics, and biology while designing study plans and mentoring fellow tutors. Since then, she has expanded into English tutoring for learners of different ages and backgrounds, including children with no prior English knowledge and students preparing for academic advancement. Beyond tutoring, Viktorya already mentors students from Armenia’s regions in the college application process, helping them with essays, interviews, and critical thinking.
Alongside teaching, Viktorya has built a strong record of international engagement. At 17, she was admitted to UWC with an offer from Waterford College in Eswatini, reflecting her academic excellence and global outlook. She has also won two international “Diamond” and “Social Impact Award” competitions, with a sustainability initiative focused on green energy, which led her to present her work in the USA and Germany consequently. At TOOZ Academy, she combines this rich international experience with her passion for education to inspire and support students on their own academic journeys.
